Just got hit?
Start here.

Pick what happened. Each one tells you what to do now and opens the right tool.

The first ten minutes.

  1. Stop using that wallet

Don’t sign, approve or send anything else from it. Every click can give away more.

  2. If your seed leaked, leave now

Make a brand new wallet with a new seed phrase on a device you trust, and move what’s left into it. Never send gas or coins back to the old wallet: bots sweep it within seconds.

  3. Switch off old permissions

If you signed something, revoke it. The wallet check lists every live permission with a one-click revoke.

  4. Save the proof

Copy the link of every transaction that took your money. Screenshot the site, the chat and the person. Don’t delete anything.

  5. Trace it and ask for the freeze

Paste the thief’s wallet or the theft transaction into the trace. If money reached an exchange or sits in USDT or USDC, send the freeze requests the case page writes for you. Hours count.

  6. Report it to the police

In the US, file at ic3.gov. In the UK, at Action Fraud. Elsewhere, your local police. Exchanges move faster when there is a report number.

  7. Ignore anyone offering recovery

People who DM you to get it back for a fee are running a second scam. Exchanges, issuers and police never charge you.
